Owned a heap of bikes over the years, currently have my Benelli TNT,love this thing

Also have a R1 which I have customised the crap out of and whacked NOS and a paddle tyre on,it’s a bit of fun, actually up for sale if anyone’s keen

  • And in the far corner of my shed,My VK Calais I’ve been restoring this thing for 12 years now,the brakes have been applied on the project since the billy lids come along,it’s about 80% complete, all work done myself including engine build (hope it fires up). This was my first car bought it back in 1999,then sold it to buy a dirt bike than bought it back in 2007 then the resto began

  • R1 does not need a turbo, VK does. Without one they are battling to pull the skin off a rice pudding.

  • Nah vk has a 355 stroker in it(gosh it feels wrong talking this jargon on this forum)I seriously considered turboing the R1 tho,was 2 mouse clicks and $2500 away from purchasing a kit.(BTW I bought a Cobb cooker on the Weekend I’ll start a thread on that later)
