I've been away with the caravan for a couple of weeks to Beulah (VIC) and Milang (SA) so the weapon of choice was the Cobb fired up with some Hickory Kingsfords.
This is a bit of scotch I got from my butcher (thanks Russ) before we went. Used about 12 briquettes and took about 75 minutes to get to my target of 135F. It was a bit chilly so I wrapped a sheet of foil around the lid and that made a big difference in getting the pit temp up to 175c, which is where I wanted it. (sorry, but I tend to use C for pit temps and F for food, no idea why)
and a couple of days later.....bacon and eggs for breakfast but this time, done on Ziggy.
It's hard to beat that, specially with a good cup of coffee afterwards.....yes, we packed the Nespresso machine too.
