Gave mine a run tonight doing a small roast lamb and some spuds. It sat perfectly around the 175c mark the whole time. I'm still very happy with it.

Interested on your thoughts on it vs the DC Gumb Now you have given it a run etc....
On a par I'd say but The DC with a higher lid would be an advantage if space was an issue. The Asmoke is better for direct grilling but you need to be careful with fatty foods like suasages becasue I've found it can flare up easily. I haven't tried it with my Grill Grates yet but they would help in that regard.
The DC also does wifi but I must say I find that a bit of a chore to set up when trying to go to server mode.
So in summary....DC if you were buying an all rounder, the Asmoke if grilling or smaller roasts was the main aim and you had other options for larger meals.
I'm not sure I need both so I might sell the DC but only because I do have plenty of other options for roasting or larger cooks. The DC is still a very good pit.
Well well well......went to do the swap over yesterday & for a "party" that William invited me to attend as well on the day.......and before long I found myself being held hostage & placed almost in charge of the days cook......hahaha!
Very interesting day that will be best discussed further over a few beers I do think.
Lovely people & very inviting & I hope they do well.....the warehouse sure is loaded after their Friday container.
Anyhows I have just finished putting my new one together and discovered that some Updates that will feature on a later to be released model that I was lucky enough to eyeball, have actually been included in my swap over one. .
The ones worth noting are.....
The extra support for the lid.
The change of the probe....better idea I think.
The probe cover now only has one screw at the top.....means much easier to access it to clean IMO.
The hook holding the grease bucket has been widened........this feature has been even better updated on the sneak peak I saw.
We should have monthly gathering and sharing event for Smoke & Fire Fans.

Hi William, do you sell bags of pellets for those of use who already have the aSmoke ?
yes, we sell two different sizes on pellets.
one is 5 lbs designed for camping and 20 lbs for backyard.
For those who bought our grillers, we are thinking to offer Group-buy voucher.
Thanks, I used the apple pellets which came with the grill and was impressed so when you have some pricing, please let us know.
I'll be giving the AS300 unit a good run this week. I nearly opted for one of the larger units until I asked the important question, that being, "what is the most popular unit"?
So far the unit seems well built, easy to put together and only needing a Phillips head screwdriver.
I rang the butcher on Saturday and put in an order for later this week to give it a good test across the board on a few proteins and styles of cook.
PS: first post, hey all.
Got a nice Red AS300 Portable on it's way over to WA, can't wait!
Looks like a really versatile unit!
Hi Speckie,

FYI, it is our online Store price instruction.
Do you live in Melboourne?
we would have some discount on 15th May on Blackburn Warehouse pick up.
Smoked Dim Sim
We’ve all seen Dim Sims cut in half and grilled, go the next level and smoke them for a taste sensation!
They come out soft and chewy with banging flavour!
Add Butter, Sriracha and some of your favourite rub to a bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds or so till the butter melts. Stir the mix together.
Give the Dim Sims a bath in the Butter, Sriracha mix and put them on the Asmoke grill
Smoke at a low temperature, for me that was 115°C
Brush with the remaining butter mix
Remove when the Dim Sim is 75°C
God damn that’s next level Dimmy
