G´day all,
As the thread title and user name may suggest I´m an Aussie living in Spain, have been overseas for around 10 years or so now.
Anyway I thought I´d join up as I really want to up my bbq game. I have a pretty bog standard charcoal Weber Kettle that I use quite a lot but it´s either for basic roasts or for a general bbq grill with things like wings, snags and stuff. I never really take any care about temps or anything and want to change that as getting a bit fed up of burnt chicken.
The Weber itself is in need of a good clean too so hopefully can find some advice about that.
I also have a largish upright smoker than really I have never used, I did try and light it once but couldn´t get it up to the temp I was after so I´d like to get my head around that as well. It probably need a bit of TLC too at least on the outside as it has been exposed to the weather and a bit rusty, the inside seems fine though.
So just thought I´d say hi and a little about myself, looking forward to jumping in and improving my cooks.
