Beef chuck on the Primo

  • I had a go at my first overnighter using the Primo to smoke a 6kg beef chuck. I used SPG rub and some cherry wood chunks and left it to do it's thing, starting it at 8pm.

    I got a false alarm at 7.30am saying it was at the required temp, but I relocated the probe to a less cooked part and let it be.

    I wrapped it at 11am and removed it at 12pm for a rest in the esky.

    Here's the final result. Very happy with both the Primo and how the beef turned out.
