Headed out to the Scenic Rim and camped at an orchard I found on hipcamp, near Cottonvale. Just a quick one night trip to roll out the swags and yarn with an old mate.
Cooked striploin on the fold up fire pit. Built a nice coal bed out of ironbark. Flipped and rotated half a dozen times to get even while we cooked potatoes on the CI pan.
Then put the CI in the coals and gave the striploin a hard sear.
Came out great.
Enjoyed with a nice red from Ballandean down the road.
