I made a Paella Valenciana last night over the coals on the Akorn.
I did it a few weeks ago and completely destroyed it by making it too hot and too spicy with hot paprika.
Last night was better but I've obviously forgotten how to keep the heat reasonable. It was just too hot and too hard.
Next time I'll just cook it over a camp fire I think.

Bought one of those large (8 or 9 kgs) pork roasts from costco, portioned it out, and cooked a chunk tonight. First one I've done in years (basically since I discovered belly). $8/kg is hard to pass up these days though.
Nailed the gravy too - something I'm very hit and miss with. Burned the brussel sprouts though 🙃

Just some elcheapo Colesworth ribs that caught my eye with their marbling. They were ~$12 for the pack! I lit the chimney and realised I was down to my last two banksia cones too so I had to sparingly use smoke! Real budget cook up !
Easy Sunday night dinner but. I smoked the for about 2 hours and then sauced and wrapped for maybe 2.5 and they were soft as butter. Used up a packet coleslaw and make a bake from some taters that were starting to grow and probably days short of going in the bin
