  • Some bbq chicken kebabs over coals on the primo - with some char grill pumpkin.

  • I haven't had much opportunity to use charcoal lately. Life's been busy.


    Lamb, oak for the smoke. Took it slightly too far as my wife requested less pink than last time, but I overcorrected.

  • 3 hour cosco ribs, 150C and foil boat at about 2 hours in.

    Hands down the best ribs I've done. My ribs before now have been enjoyable but never at the same standard as a good rib restaurant, so I'm super happy with these. (Finally).

  • Simple steak for me and a lamb chop for her grilled over a basket of Kingsford Hickory/Redgum charcoal mix on the Weber kettle.

    Got ribs on now, didn't bother trimming them, just salt and pepper. Ironbark smoking wood, 125C.

  • Fresh caught south coast snapper - by me.

    Marinated in soy garlic chilli fish sauce and lemon - basted with same whilst cooking over coals.

    Mmmmmm bloody fantastic !!!

  • Just a lazy pork shoulder. Was actually done in the air fryer as I'd not tried doing pork crackling in it yet. I think the pics will show how the crackling went.
