yeah pizza's are easy, good for feeding the masses and everybody can have their own ingredients.
I myself have a gozney dome and was always taking left overs to work. I convinced my boss to get an oven for work, he got a gozney roccbox so he can take it home whenever he wants.
I hosted a pizza party at work for staff, 48 pizzas, smashed it out.
Oven got a lot of interest but some baulked at the price so i pointed them here. Now the count is up to 7 colleagues plus 1 friend.
See heaps of leftovers in the office now

Ok so latest update for the solt. Just got back from good guys and they have replaced the pizza oven with a new one. (And let me keep my original stone and peel) overall very happy with the end result and can't wait to fire it up again. I guess especially with any of units make sure they have warranty just for peace of mind. Another note was they seem to be struggling with supply on these units so looks like a lot of people have been catching on and picking these up which can't be a bad thing. Anyways happy cooking and will report back on my next cook.
Lol. I got 7 blokes from work on to this oven based on this thread. Very popular

We have it easy in Oz when it comes to sorting garbage. Check out Japan and how clean the place is.
They don't tolerate what we call garbage collection in Australia.
https://matcha-jp.com/en/10149
A country that really knows how to keep things clean.
We have to remember a building over there may have 10,000 residents and a few blocks (Called Ward in Japan) may house up to 1 million people.
In Japan they are very wary of foreigns as they don't know how to dispose of garbage properly.
I have been walking the streets here in Tokyo and it is a lot cleaner than Aus however the streets are still not clean or spotless as the media or online would have us believe. Add to that you often get a stench of sewerage wafting in the air, something we don't get in Aus.

forget the kamado kettle joe, it leaks like a sieve and some of the parts are not suitable for higher temp cooks, a weber kettle like you have does the same job and is a fraction of the price. The way i see it, from your list the only choices are ceramic kamado or the masterbuilt.
I don't own either but have used my bro's KJ a bunch and it gets my vote.

Pizza looks good, rolling pin doesnt
You are pushing all the air out of the dough that you spent time adding in.

Thanks Captain. I’m not sure how to get charcoals to 180 degrees? My thermometer is just one that you just pierce food with. So it’s a case of trial and hopefully no error for me!
Are you using lump charcoal or heat beads ?
If using lump you might want to try indirect and use top and bottom vents for air control.
If heat beads you will likely cook it on high heat first, so get your crackle done then as the heat drops it will just cruise to your desired temp

i voted the kamado for versatility, although i don't own one but use my brothers a lot. In saying that i own a weber kettle and love it and to date have been able to do everything in it that we can in the brothers kamado. Sorry for contributing to the confusion

I am looking for some encouragement or argument to cooking some steaks in the gozney dome without a pan. I was thinking raising them with a trivet off the stone and letting the juice drop on the stone.
What effect would this have on the stone?
would it be easy to clean with high heat burn off?
will it soak in and wreck the stone?
Would flavour carry over to future pizza cooks?Could i do them caveman style directly on the stone? Would the meat stick or release ?

the grill looks unseasoned. Do you wash it with soap and water after a cook ?
