Stepson's whole family caught it and tested positive on the 29th last month, bit concerning as we had the whole family together for Australia day. Turns out they likely caught it while out at the shops on the 27th. Ended up with not much more than regular cold symptoms (parents and oldest daughter all triple jabbed and the youngest had just recently had her first shot).
My sister overseas with family all came down with it too, same deal there.
Only concerning run in with the bug was the stepdaughter who had her father in-law test positive just a day after having minded the kids for several hours. Concerning as one of the granddaughters just had been released from hospital after surgery having had both spleen and gall-bladder removed (6th such surgery in the family from a hereditary blood disorder).
Luckily they all seem to somehow have dodged getting it
Wife's somehow has been dodging catching it for months now after having had 20 or so workmates turn up for work and testing positive (mandatory rapid tests before starting their shifts) and also 2 outbreaks among residents in the nursinghome where she works.
