No they haven't ever had food cooked on 100% Hardwood / Pellets.
Good tip on the Chicken will factor that in they are here for a week.
-
Big Fornetto to add just sighted in Brisvegas including new pellet grill "only at Bunnings"
As at yesterday still not at my local.
-
oh yes gotta love that humidity
-
Welcome Evan.
Good to see another Queenslander has joined.

For me.
Family coming up from Canberra for a week.
Some planned cooks for them on the GMG whilst they are here. Brother in Law has no experience with Low n Slow cooking so that will give us something to talk about whilst making sure the SFAF stubby cooler works
Thinking some reverse seared Rib Fillets and maybe some more Rump beef Burgers.
Possibly painting the inside of the Garage.
Nothing too exciting.

Just a shower for us up here.

And here in Brisbane

Gold Coast here we come
-
sounds like your coming to my place captain except for the whiskey it's Rum here.
-
Yeah I am not too sure.
@cjbfisher probably buys the same ones given he lives close to butcher

I am using GMG premium fruitwood.
I did however pick up some Lumberjack Cherry to try.
Different market in QLD to Melbourne. Limited supply and Pellet Grills not as popular.
Hopefully options pick up as Pellet Grills become more popular.

Yep the $500 worth of tickets paid off.

Nor on East side of Brisbane.

The thing I like though is for a family of four the portable Ziggy manages just fine.
It does this and other items just fine as a q and then you can use it to reverse sear as well.
I probably appreciate it more now that I have the GMG than before.

Yep dish is to melt cheese.
I find it melts cheese quicker than simply closing lid. Each to their own I guess.

A Weber kettle but boss says no.
-
Ok no problems.
They are rump burgers from "low n slow Meat Co"
