Thanks again mate.
Good old Samsung suggesting names ?
Just like CarpeSmoke apple suggested me your name as I would suggest you have an Apple phone ? How is this allowed and not a breach of privacy ???
He seemed like a nice guy but I was just more comfortable with somebody from the forum helping me out.
How was his Primo ???
Did you get him to join the forum ?
I have used Chris previously and I am based in Brisbane.
Great advice and service.
Not only here online but rang him early one morning when purchasing a second hand grill. Credit to him took the time to help me out with some advice which he didn't have to do as there was no $$$$ in it for him.
I remember when you bought it and I think this is great value at $4750 somebody will get a bargain.
I feel your pain that's why I sold the GMG DB wasn't using it and had more than enough grill space.
I love tandoori over charcoal there is nothing like it. The char just makes it.
Yes i too cant see the point and shoot camera segment continuing. Phones do that really well right now and the younger generations are demanding better cameras in phones so they will take over that segment of the market if they havnt already (i think they have).
its only for the technical shots etc... that a better camera is needed.
Lets hope that my little Olympus lasts a really long time now although the mob that has bought them will probably on sell it all to Panasonic potentially. wait and see i guess.
I wouldnt be the only one who has this issue.
Stabilisation was a reason i went with Olympus. I generally have unsteady hands. That and it was small to take on trips with me.
No sound on the 4K video but i am ok with that as i have a HD video camera in any event.
i am not sure about the crop on 4/3's sorry i am not that technically minded.
All the Lumix and Olympus lenses are interchangable but i simply got two lenses which is enough for me.
Thats what i found last year when ibought the Olympus which was one reason why i went Mirrorless. Everything was heading that way. Yep i understand that doesnt mean its fantastically better but everything was heading to mirrorless as technology advances.
I am waiting on a response from CarpeSmoke if i dont hear back by trhe weekend i will Send you a PM.
cheers thanks for this.
For Clarity all i am after is somebody to go and see the seller. Check that it is Brand new no chips or scratches it is in the box apparently. Pay the guy (I will transfer funds for payment) and then post it to me (Send me copy of postage receipt and i will pay you).
I will stick with the Smartfire via BBQ Guru adapter I think but may pull the Jr Cap apart and post some measurements.
Fit an Akorn jr ? Clips as well ???
I had used Traeger and Pitboss / Louisiana grills pellets both worked fine.
Yes Traeger were being sued in the US for using oils I. There pellets to give them the specific flavour. Hickory was the main offender I believe.
I could never tell the difference in flavour in any event.
