the Aldi budget ones for about $4kg and they always taste good.
I agree with that. Tried free range a few times & different brands ..... wouldn't waist the extra coin again.

Welcome to SF&F Rushysmoker .
It is a Coolabah Outdoor gas fired one
Can anyone tell me if I can get spare parts because the bottom panel which hold the regulator is almost rusted awa
I'm guessing you have an older version of these that were produced by Hark for Aldi.
As Wazza said a picture would be great but I'm guessing only that by the sounds of it replacing that part could be near impossible.
Good luck........ please show that picture so someone can best advise you on a plan of action.

Brined a whole chook earlier in the week using Captain Cook's brine recipe.
Decided to give smoking it a go on the Masterbuilt portable.
Had picked up some oak & some Cherry chunks from bunnings a few days prior.
Interestingly when I got home with these wood chunks I was surprised see they both originate from China.....Samba & Matador brands....... suppose I should not be surprised though!
Anyhows I went with some cherry for the chook and gave it around 30/40 minutes of smoke then cranked it up to180cish until it reached around 78c in thigh region.
Bloody impressed with the result, the chicken had a really nice smoky flavour to it.

I recall as a pretty young lad, maybe just before my teens myself and a mate built one of these brick BBQs at the back of the garage.
Don't think the folks were to impressed at the time but was too late as we had well and truly begun (Concrete foundation) by the time they came home.
Certainly, wasn't as good as the one above but I do remember it served us well for a few years until everything was pulled down to build a granny flat.

I just don't think they are a good option.
I'm with Gumb on this one.
I struggle now sometimes to remember to remove my oxygen leads.

Now where was I before being interrupted by a blood transfusion....
Ahh yes.......Customer service & that little problem I encountered above.^^^^^^^^^^^^.
Now I've worked in retail & wholesale most of my life, I think I know good from bad customer service.
After being mucked around for weeks by the online retailer (Be Warned) who I'll call "BBQ SOLID CENTRE" for now (who can work it out??) & getting unsatisfactory customer service, it was time this morning to track down the Head honch of the new Distributer .... which is Masterbuilt themselves. (Middleby)
Well, that was a waste of time as by now I'm quite annoyed and it's coming over as aggressive
I'm told.
It's only been 7 WEEKS & a wrong part was sent in the middle of all that wait and broken promises as well.
They have lost me as a future customer.
Worst customer service I've experienced from a BBQ Retailer/Company ..........EVER!
